A non-profit whose mission is to provide emergency assistance to low-income working Haitians.
HUP provides services to Haitians in need. Affiliating with offices nationwide, Several of our programs are able to work with Haitian families and Haitian individuals at-risk of eviction by helping provide funds for short-term financial assistance with overdue bills. We then work with the family to strengthen themselves and avoid the same crisis in the future.
The amount and type of aid will vary. HUP foundation provides short term assistance for rent, mortgage, gas, electric, phone, or water bills and burial.

Our mission is to provide comfortable and safe homes where homeless veterans can effectively transition from homelessness. Our program is for those who have fallen upon "bad luck" in life, and are in need of a place to start over fresh. Our clean and sober transitional homes provide this opportunity.
We believe in helping yourself—therefore, we have a strict policy that each occupant must be willing to work at least 4 hours per day. HUP will provide work, 2 quality meals per day, a nice comfortable home, toiletries, and clothing for each occupant.
We will be there to assist our veterans as long as it takes to make the full transition back into becoming a productive member of society. Although our focus is primarily on helping homeless veterans, others are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Approximately 5% of all funds are allocated for projects in Haiti. Our current focus is in Georgia and California.
